Pricing & fees
These defaults flow into every rental contract and the pickup wizard. Per-rental overrides always win — these are the fall-throughs.

What to fill in
Admin & collection fees
- Citation admin fee — applied when a toll / parking / traffic citation is processed against the renter
- Damage admin fee — processing on top of damage claims
- Repossession fee — recovery from delinquent renter
- Late return fee (per day) — calendar days past the authorized return time. Used by the iOS Return wizard’s auto-charges preview.
Fuel
- Refill rate per gallon — used when renter returns vehicle below pickup fuel level
- Fuel service fee — flat charge on top of the per-gallon refill
Optional insurance (daily rates)
- LDW — Loss Damage Waiver
- SLP — Supplemental Liability Protection
- PAI — Personal Accident Insurance
- PEC — Personal Effects Coverage
Leave any blank that your shop doesn’t offer. The contract renders an em-dash for unoffered products.
Deposit
- Default deposit amount — pre-seeded into the iOS pickup wizard’s Hold Deposit step. Staff can override per rental.
Arbitration & governing law
- Arbitration venue city + state
- Governing state
Leave blank to fall back to your tenant business address.
What changes after you save
- The contract resolver immediately uses the new values on the next contract generation
- The iOS pickup wizard pre-seeds the deposit amount from
defaultDepositAmountCents - The iOS return wizard surfaces the late fee in the auto-charges preview when the rental is overdue
Common questions
Can I have different late fees per vehicle? No — fees are tenant-wide. If you want per-vehicle pricing differences (luxury vs economy), use the per-rental override on a specific rental.
The em-dash is showing on my contract. Means the field is null. Set it in this Settings page; the next contract will populate.
