The pickup wizard says it's stuck

The iOS pickup wizard resumes from the last incomplete step every time you reopen it — you should never have to re-walk completed work.

Resume order

When you reopen a rental that’s mid-pickup, the wizard lands on the first step that hasn’t been completed:

Common stuck states

”Continue” button is grey

The current step has a validation error — usually a required field is empty. Scroll up to see the inline message. Common causes:

  • Walkaround: you haven’t captured every required angle
  • Pickup readings: mileage is blank, or fuel level isn’t picked
  • Documents ready: a required document hasn’t been uploaded (DL front, insurance card, etc.)
  • Sign contract: the customer hasn’t completed the signing session
  • Hold deposit: amount is $0 or no payment provider is selected

Wizard reopens at the wrong step

Make sure you tapped Confirm pickup at the end of the last attempt — if you exited before that, the rental is still in reserved status and the wizard will land on the next incomplete step (not done).

”Network error: the request timed out”

Backend or network glitch. Tap Retry. If it persists for multiple rentals, check Settings → Help for any reported incidents, then contact support with the rental id (visible in the wizard footer).
